*Remember, this is an extended forecast, so the further out the forecast is, the less confident I get with what's forecasted. Essentially, take it with a grain of salt.*

It's finally starting to feel and look like spring around Northeast Wisconsin!

SUMMARY

Temperatures will gradually climb from day to day over the next 5 days or so, topping out in the low-mid 80s, before falling back into the 70s by the end of the extended forecast.

SUNDAY (MAY 7)

We're starting the extended forecast with a gradual increase in the temperature, which was noted in the summary. I expect to see some sun, but also some clouds throughout the day. Temperatures will be in the 60s.

MONDAY (MAY 8)

As low pressure pushes into the area, winds will begin to pick up, with gusts topping out around 30MPH at times. It'll be sunny, but there's a chance of PM thunderstorms. The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has posted a Level 1 risk for severe thunderstorms for the far western portion of the forecast area. Stay posted for updates.

TUESDAY (MAY 9)

I expect another sunny day, but again, a chance for PM thunderstorms. Temperatures will be in the 70s.

WEDNESDAY (MAY 10)

Today will be a BEAUTIFUL day with high temperatures in the 80s and partly sunny skies!

THURSDAY (MAY 11)

Another great day is expected. Partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the 80s yet again.

FRIDAY (MAY 12)

As noted in the summary, our high temperatures will peak around 80 and then start a downward trend. Friday is the beginning of the slight downward trend, with highs in the mid-upper 70s. Sunny skies are expected.

SATURDAY (MAY 13)

Important to note that at release of this forecast (Sat May 7), Saturday is exactly a week out, so this will likely change. Right now, you can expect sun & clouds with highs near 70°.
