FRIDAY: Bitterly cold temperatures continuing this morning, clouds arriving tonight

Writer: Northeast Wisconsin WeatherNortheast Wisconsin Weather

Good morning! The sunshine is shining, but it's still bitterly cold this morning. Temperatures this morning are in the teens below zero with wind chills in the 20s and 30s below zero. Even though the sun in shining, it's definitely a day to stay inside if you can. Frostbite can set in within as little as 10 minutes in these conditions. A Wind Chill Advisory is still in effect until noon today.

Tonight, clouds will begin to move into the area, so you can expect mostly cloudy skies. Overnight lows should be in the single digits.

Thankfully, today will be the last day with these frigid temperatures. Temperatures this weekend will skyrocket into the upper 20s and maybe a few low 30s. Though far out, it's looking like temperatures next week may get into the upper 30s and MAYBE a few low 40s. All signs are pointing towards above-average temperatures for the month of February.
