Hot, humid and breezy Memorial Day ahead

Although current temperatures are only in the 70s, you can definitely feel the humidity in the air. A severe weather outbreak is likely to unfold across Minnesota and other parts of the Plains, which I will be keeping an eye on since the remnants of these storms will be headed our way. I don't expect any severe storms when the convection arrives in NE WI, but it's something to watch since the Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 1 severe risk across Central WI.

High temperatures today will be in the upper 80s and 90s today with heat indices nearing 100°! It will definitely be a hot day today, so if you're outside for an extended period of time, make sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks in air conditioning.
