MONDAY: High clouds for much of the day, Winter Storm Watch issued for Vilas County

Good morning! You can expect high clouds for much of the day and other than a possibility of some flurries/sprinkles along the Lake Michigan shore, it will be a quiet day ahead. High temperatures will be similar to yesterday - in the upper 30s into the low 40s.

A low pressure system will bring an unsettled weather pattern over the next few days. A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for Vilas County, which will likely be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning. I expect most areas, with an exception of the far SE portion of our coverage area, to see some precipitation. We'll have to watch closely the rain/snow transition zone to get an idea on snow totals.
