Good morning! Today will be the last day of our first tease of spring. We knew it would have to end at some point and we've unfortunately reached that time.
Today, temperatures will still be above average. We'll still be in the 70s. We actually do have a chance for severe weather today. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of the area under a Level 1 (Marginal) risk for severe weather. Threats include around quarter-size hail and up to 65 MPH wind gusts.

The latest models show a line of thunderstorms moving through the area around the 4-5 PM timeframe, moving from the west to east. Be aware of that if you have any outdoor plans.
I will make a separate post for this later today, but for now, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for central Wisconsin that runs from Sunday afternoon/evening and expires Monday afternoon/evening. This is for the potential for snow accumulation in excess of 6", a light glaze of ice in some spots, and winds gusting up to 45MPH at times. Travel could be very difficult, especially for the morning commute Monday.
