SATURDAY: Dissipating clouds and above-average temperatures

Writer: Northeast Wisconsin WeatherNortheast Wisconsin Weather

Good morning! A majority of the area is seeing sunny skies this morning, but across the far Northwoods, there are some clouds. Those clouds will eventually dissipate and move out of the area by midday, and by the afternoon, you can expect clear skies. Highs will be roughly ten degrees above average today! Highs will be in the 30s, and maybe a few 40s to the south.

I am continuing to monitor a potentially significant winter storm next week Wednesday night into Thursday. All models are pointing to at least some sort of precipitation, but where they differ is the track of the storm, which will affect what type of precipitation we have. Nonetheless, it's way to early to get into specifics since models will continue to change over the next couple of days, but stay tuned for updates.
