UPDATE (6:30AM WEDNESDAY): This forecast looks to be on track. The Storm Prediction Center has updated the severe weather outlook, which will be shown in the main post below. I have also changed the Severe Risk Analysis slightly. I've lowered the threat for large hail and tornadoes (which will be explained later), but raised the damaging wind threat due to latest models showing more of a linear storm setup, which will be capable of supporting dangerous damaging winds (75+ MPH). That doesn't mean, however, that tornadoes and large hail are not a threat, they still are.
This hot and humid stretch of weather will come to an end after tomorrow, but not before bringing the potential for severe weather to the area.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of the area under a Level 3 (Enhanced) risk for Wednesday. This is for the potential for 'numerous' severe thunderstorms, which may pose a threat for isolated tornadoes, damaging wind, and very large hail. Of course, heavy rainfall and lightning are also possible.
Latest models show a cluster/line of thunderstorms develop across Central Wisconsin later this afternoon (around 4-5PM) and push eastward. As they move east, and breaks in the line should fill in, eventually forming a squall line. With a squall line, I'm most concerned about the damaging wind threat. These have the potential to produce damaging wind upwards of 75+ MPH. There's still a threat for an isolated tornado and very large hail, so just be aware of that. Any of these storms also have the potential to produce torrential downpours, eventually leading to flash flooding in spots. Be aware of this and remember to "Turn Around, Don't Drown".

We will likely be put under a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch later today, so during that time, before the storms start, go through your safety plan. Even if there isn't a tornado, damaging straight-line winds can cause just as much damage as a weak tornado. Regardless, it's a good idea to head into your safe place if you're under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
FIND YOUR COUNTY!
Believe it or not, many people can't find their county on a map. It's important to know during severe weather where your county is on a map and even the counties surrounding you.
