Good morning! Much of the area is currently under a thick area of clouds, but that will change. I expect them to move out of the area by mid-afternoon. High temperatures today will be significantly cooler than they were yesterday. Overall we will have a dry and quiet day ahead.
To the west, there's a Winter Storm Watch in effect, where up to 10", of snow is expected. We will likely get a mixed-precipitation event from this, so we'll have to watch this closely to see where that rain/snow transition zone sets up. It may be somewhat of a "nowcasting" type of event, meaning I'll need to update the forecast as the event is occurring.
