SUNDAY: Warming up slightly & possible clearing this afternoon

Good morning! We're continuing to warm up as our next weathermaker approaches. Before we talk about that, today, you can expect mostly cloudy skies for a majority of the day. Models are showing a small period of time (1-2 hours) where clouds will diminish and we'll get some sunshine. With that being said, based on the weather we've had the past couple weeks, I won't hold my breath🙂. I expect high temperatures to be in the low-mid 30s today.

Unfortunately, Monday will be a dreary day. Precipitation associated with a low pressure system will bring mainly rain to the area. Currently, models are pointing at the 3-4AM timeframe for arrival of the precipitation. Atmospheric conditions at this time will still support freezing rain, but this will only be the case for a short period of time, before changing to all rain.
