WED: Cooler, but humid and a chance of scattered storms

Good morning! I hope all of you had a good 4th of July! It will be a bit cooler today, but much more humid with a chance of storms. Dew points are in the low 60s across the Northwoods, but as you move south, they get into the mid-upper 60s. This, along with high temperatures in the 80s, will help fuel thunderstorms later this afternoon.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal (Level 1) risk for areas along and east of a line from Green Bay to Appleton to Oshkosh.

The NAM model is showing less coverage of these scattered storms, while the HRRR shows more widely scattered storms. Regardless of where you are, there could be a thunderstorm rolling through your area, but in the green shaded area, you are most likely to see a strong/severe storm.
