Good morning! It's a chilly one out there! Current temperatures as of 8:20 AM are well below zero across the Northwoods, but in the single digits below zero elsewhere. Along the Lakeshore, the relatively "warm" lake is keeping temperatures slightly above zero. Wind is generally calm, so what the temperature is, that would be your wind chill.

Regarding the winter storm, I have a few updates:
- The Winter Weather Advisory for Oneida and Vilas counties will now go into effect at 2PM (originally scheduled to go into effect at 6PM) this afternoon. This is because the onset of precipitation is expected to be earlier than previous models suggested.
- The entire area is under a Winter Weather Advisory beginning at 6PM tonight and going until 6PM Thursday.
- Then, a Winter Storm Watch (which will eventually be upgraded) is in effect from Thursday 6PM until Saturday at 6AM.
I will be getting a forecast put together right now and post it when it's finished.
