WEDNESDAY: High pressure will keep us dry today

Writer: Northeast Wisconsin WeatherNortheast Wisconsin Weather

Good morning! High pressure will keep us dry today. Any areas that are still seeing clear skies will see clouds move in throughout the day. High temperatures today will be right around freezing - upper 20s and low 30s.

Attention will turn to the approaching winter storm. The low pressure is spinning in eastern Colorado and western Kansas this morning and will quickly move northeastward. The only change overnight is that the National Weather Service has added a tier of counties to the north to the Winter Storm Watch (see below). The Winter Storm Watch now includes Forest, Florence and Oneida counties. This now means the entire area (except Vilas County - I expect a Winter Weather Advisory to be issued) is under a Winter Storm Watch. Stay tuned for a complete forecast for this winter storm later today. I will try to get it done by noon or so.
