After a much needed break from ruthless winter weather, we are heading back to reality. The National Weather Service has upgraded the Winter Storm Watch to Winter Storm Warnings for most of the forecast area. Calumet, Manitowoc, and Winnebago are the only counties in the area that is under a Winter Weather Advisory rather than a Winter Storm Warning. Nonetheless, wherever you are, be prepared for hazardous travel conditions for the morning commute. The bulk of the snow will fall overnight tonight.
Winter Storm Warning - Brown, Kewaunee, Outagamie

Winter Storm Warning - Door, Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Menominee, Northern Marinette County, Northern Oconto County, Oneida, Shawano, Southern Marinette County, Southern Oconto County, Vilas

Winter Storm Warning - Portage, Waupaca, Waushara, Wood

Winter Weather Advisory - Calumet, Manitowoc, Winnebago

As I said before, it doesn't matter if you're in a Winter Storm Warning or a Winter Weather Advisory, travel will be very hazardous tomorrow morning. The difference between the warning and advisory is simply the amount of snow expected to fall. This will be a heavy, wet snow that is not easy to move, so be aware on sidewalks, roads, and especially side roads, which are often the last to get plowed.
I've opted to not make a snowfall forecast given the lack of difference over the forecast area.
